These terms cover your use of this website and the estimates we give through it. The work itself is governed by the written contract you sign before we start — where the two disagree, the signed contract wins.
Who we are
This site is operated by Sunday Roof Co of 4601 E 12th St, Kansas City, MO.
Estimates
Estimates are free and carry no obligation. An estimate is our price for the scope described in it, based on what we could see at the time — it is not a contract until both sides sign one.
Roofs hide things. If we open up the roof and find rotten decking, previous repairs done badly, or anything else we could not have seen from the outside, we will stop, show you, and agree the extra work and cost with you in writing before continuing.
Prices quoted are held for 30 days unless the estimate says otherwise. Material prices move, and after that we may need to re-quote.
Scheduling and weather
Roofing is weather-dependent. We will give you a start date and keep you posted, but we will not put a crew on a wet or unsafe roof, and we may move your date because of weather or because we are pulling crews onto emergency storm work. We will not charge you for a delay caused by weather.
Access to your property
By booking work you confirm that you own the property or are authorised to have the work done, and you agree to give us safe access to the roof, the driveway for a dumpster or trailer, and an outdoor power point.
Tear-off shakes a house. We ask that you move vehicles, take down anything fragile hanging on interior walls, and cover what you care about in the attic. We clean up and run a magnet over the yard when we are done, but a nail can always be missed — tell us and we will come back out.

Limits
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Beyond that, our liability for any claim connected to a job is limited to what you paid us for that job.
